Well folks had quite a successful buying weekend mostly as I found a large amount of truly amazing vintage dead stock so unused 1960s and 70s greeting cards writing sets and flower power vinyls The cards are mostly by Coloroll with fantastic bold designs for example my favourite a lion with bright bold flowers around him a hounds tooth check cat or a selection of hippy ladies In gorgeous pastel tonesIm not sure what I will do with some of them the larger cards may be framed the smaller ones sold in packs I expect The large vinyl stickers are all bold flowers which can be stuck on anything from cars to furniture in bold shades of blue orange pink green and yellow etc again made by Coloroll.Photos will be added shortly I am also investigating some of the designers as I believe some have their own collectors market.

Another news flash for all you ceramic fans out there...
The launch of the fantastic new book on JampG Meakin pottery was held at The Wedgwood Visitors Centre Balaston Factory StokeonTrent on 7th October 2007.
It was a great success with copies of the book flying out and the author Chris Marks signing them as quick as he could....
There was particular interest from the Japanese market who purchased many of the fab coffee sets Chris was selling.Even im getting hooked on the fantastic loud 1970s designs and suggest snapping it up now as i believe it will be the next Midwinter
The book can be purchased through my website now...
