Made by the brothers of Alfred -who at one point were in competition with each other, altho they tended to make more classical patterns, leaving the high kitsch to Alfred!

This design- known as 'wishing well' and came in several colour ways- depending on the point of the sunset/rise -they did pale blue, green, yellow or (my favorite) pink!

This was an open transfer, found on Alfred meakin, stamped Tunstall and sometimes blank- this one has 'Made in England'

This fantastic plate features a great little monochrome design...

On a far flung tropical island, where grass skirts are worn and coconuts collected... this has it all, even a raft and bamboo houses on the beach, of course with many palm trees for good measure!
