Hard to beleive this stunning piece was made in 1955. Another piece from the fantastic designer Jens Quistgaard.
Called CONGO, this large ice bucket was based on a viking helmet, and is made from gorgeous, staved teak (with an orange plastic liner)

Not sure if this tray had a specific purpose, but it is an unusual triangular shape, with a slight lip to the egde... such an amazingly tactile piece, with a gorgeous grain, it would just be a statement on its own...

Made from pressed iron with a black matt enamel outside, and a sky blue gloss enamel lining. These are both Oven- proof and Flame proof, advertised as oven to table bowls. Small lime green bowl also available- £35
Excllent condition, with only one small chip to the outside base- none of the usual rim damage! Measures; 8.5inches in diameter x 4inches high

This is a fab piece, and really hard to find in this country... made by Arabia, Finland
It features a very scandinavian scene in chocolate brown and black on a white background... as with so much of this ware, it does have a few chips around the top edge and one to the bottom, but still looks fab!
